About UVP

Working people have stories to tell—about their communities, their dreams, and their thoughts on the world we live in. The Unheard Voices Project tackles themes that are often dismissed by the powers that be: work, sustainability, and community. Through public screenings, film festivals, and advocacy efforts, the UVP allows people from different places and walks of life together to share perspectives on issues that reflect our common humanity.

A big shout-out to FolkStreams, which streams Wild Caught, With These Hands, and Carnival Train. More than a website, FolkStreams is an online repository of American ethnography, roots cultures, and vanishing regionalism. Learn more at www.folkstreams.net.
